WWE News: Mick Foley comments on his return at the international live events
Returning WWE star Mick Foley spoke with Wrestling Voice Radio's Duane
Doogan and Luke Berry over the weekend and was asked about his surprise
appearance at the Dublin, Ireland live event. "Basically, the answer is
that I happened to be flying to Dublin on the day they were there,"
Foley said. "My hotel was literally across the street.
"Even a month ago when it was pretty obvious that I was back in the good graces of Mr. McMahon, I called and asked if I could come hang out. So it worked out good. It was a lot of fun." You can listen to Foley's comments at WrestlingVoiceRadio.com.
Powell's POV: Foley said he was never officially told that he'll be at Raw next week so it didn't surprise him when he was pulled from the advertising, but he also said it also won't surprise him if he ends up being added to the lineup.
Foley also noted that he made sure to have all of his Mondays and Tuesdays free ever since his noncompete clause expired. There is also footage of Foley performing standup included, as well as a brief clip of his in-ring appearance in Dublin. He also discusses helping Shane Helms at a recent fundraiser, and his own relationship with Ric Flair.
