Return to sender ... that's the latest on the Ronnie Brown-for-Jerome Harrison deal that the Eagles and Lions tried to swing at Tuesday's trade deadline.
Per ESPN,
Harrison "had health issues," so the swap of running backs (which also
would have bought Philly a draft pick) could not be consummated.
That could leave Detroit in a lurch as starting RB Jahvid Best is suffering from a concussion and may not be available vs. the Falcons on Sunday.
Brown has been a bit player for the Eagles this season, his most memorable play being a boneheaded fumble when he tried to pass the ball after getting bottled up at the goal line in a Week 4 loss to the 49ers.
