WWE TV Show Ideas

WWE, undaunted by the questionable "success" of their motion picture division, has been threatening to start its own television network. Naturally, the cable network would be expected to carry current WWE programming and repeats, while also making use of WWE's absolutely massive tape library, which could quite possibly be the largest collection of professional wrestling footage in the world. But what else might WWE show on their fledgling television network?

The idea of a television station completely run by WWE quickly gives way to some obvious gags: A Jerry Springer-style show that ends in even more explosive staged violence, midget wrestling, hardcore gay pornography, etc. In fact, WWE seems hip to how ridiculous the idea of their own television network is, as there have been early rumors of both a Big Show cooking program as well as the WWE version of "The Real World," which swaps out a bunch of young stupid kids who are desperate for money and fame for a bunch of grizzled old men who are, well...desperate for money and fame.

Still, we realize that WWE might need some additional programming to fill 24 hours of airtime every day, which is why we've assembled this here list. We're just trying to do our part folks in the search for WWE TV show ideas.
In recent years, Zack Ryder has gone from an underutilized talent who barely shows up on television to an underutilized talent who barely shows up on television with a sizable Internet following. For whatever reason, WWE still insists on booking Ryder as a lovable loser when they book him at all, but a television network would be the perfect opportunity to make use of the skills Ryder has honed on his YouTube show, "Z! True Long Island Story." We're not sure how we'd do with a full 22 minutes of Ryder's lo-fi mugging, but would we be down for a few minutes here and there? Woo woo woo, you know it.
